Still the developers have done what they can with the license they have, and we end up with a competent, yet somewhat bland kart racing game that will struggle to find an audience.

The main mode is the Cup mode, and it contains five cups, each with four tracks spanning the full Dreamworks universe. of the most iconic DreamWorks characters, including Shrek, Po, Tigress, Puss in Boots, King Julien, Hiccup, Astrid, Megamind, and other favorites all come together in a kart racing experience like no other. Puss' kart almost always has a Del Mar-inspired front frame, with the iron cat buckle on the bumper.

Each Shrek character also has a personalized kart, which is designed to fit several different styles. Rapunzel's turret (complete with her hair) is also seen on the street leading to the final turns of the track. Dragon herself is present in her treasure chamber, spitting fire at drivers while shooting fireball projectiles onto the track. There are seven playable racers from the Shrek franchise, including the Puss in Boots spin-off series. As I mentioned earlier the music is completely arbitrary and the lack of licensed tunes really hurts it.
