oh, because we had to sit thru COUNTLESS and ENDLESS chapters of Julian and Magnolia having sex against every surface of The Compound. Have never stopped loving you, since the second I realised I did, and I admit it, it took me too long to know it but I know it now, and I can’t unknow it.

I love julian but if his pov’s are gonna continue to be magnolia parks centered that feel like recaps of the magnolia parks books then I’m sorry but his POVs need to go….My heart absolutely breaks for her and I hate that we never seem to dive as deep into her trauma as we do with other characters. I'm already suffering for the way both of them are going to feel guilty about Bridget, and in some point is fair because he wasn't honest with her about what was happening in his life and she did get involved with a gang lord without thinking in the consequences. from the very first moment i got to know daisy in dh1 i just knew she was a character that would touch my heart. we lost the plot the second Magnolia came in (again, we're not surprised, considering the obsession the author has with her).

okay, i never really liked the man so the relationship between him and Magnolia was not going to affect my opinion of him in the slightest but GOD WAS HE ANNOYING THIS BOOK. I cannot stress enough how I wish he would just drop everything and change life somewhere else so that not one of his stupid “friends” could ever find him because they all make his life as miserable as possible. A clear theme in the series is how the female leads use men as coping mechanisms and jump between guys, which I know is because they’re being portrayed as real and flawed. This book has Daisy‘s name on its title but I feel like I‘ve read Magnolia and Julian‘s book and Daisy and Christian were side characters. i felt so conflicted on what to rate this book because i know if this was just a christiandaisy book i would be in love.whatever, my girl Daisy was butchered, she was so dumb sometimes i had to close the book and take a deep breath because some of are actions were soooooo Magnolia coded like- please, let's all remember who this book is supposedly named after. all these small moments of daisy and christian just admiring each other in silence without the other person knowing >>> their journey and love story just hit differently because it all started out so complicated in dh1, but in this book, it’s just so simple, except its actually not.

You are telling me that she genuinely thought everyone was lying about Julian being "the most dangerous man in London. wouldn’t say i fell in love with her like i hoped i would, but i did warm to her and that’s a start. A character who spends half the book disapproving of and lying to his girlfriend is your favorite love interest? But when her safety is threatened once again, she finds herself back under the watchful eyes of her gang-lord brother Julian and her ex-boyfriend Christian, both desperate to keep her safe. i am a firm believer in it’s his fault, he caused mp lovers pain, daisychristian lovers were so close to a happy ending, we were so close, we are always so fucking close please jessa give us A BREAK.Eyes are just as much trouble as they’ve always been, coloured like honey split on leaves in autumn. Daisy Haites thought she’d left everything about her old life in the past: the crime, her family and the man she loves. late because Daisy jumped into the shower with me when I was getting ready to leave and I got a bit sidetracked. I’d sidetrack my whole fucking year for five minutes alone with her, but by way of miracle I’m getting a lot of her five minutes these days — and I’m not going to fuck it up this time.

you feel everything, and sometimes you feel it a little too much, but you honestly just can’t help it. They just have sex and it feels more like he has a big crush on her and since he knows that their relationship is impossible, and he doesn't want to fall in love he believes that he is in love with her. this book would 100% have been a five-star read if i had gotten a little more daisychristian and a little less magnolia. you’re gonna spend much of your reading time wondering why he’s suddenly so in love with this childish human being clearly stuck in another relationship with another idiot. Truthfully, I started to get a bit nervous about this book once the "promo" for it started, but we will get there.christian is just such an angel, and i fell completely head over heels for him in dh1 and this book only made me fall harder for him, which i didn’t think was possible.
