The Cannibal Killer Sunday Times bestselling author Christopher Berry-Dee is the man who talks to serial killers. His crimes, were sexually motivated, they were also motivated by Jeffrey Dahmer feeling extreme loneliness, isolation, he wanted to have friends, companionship, he wanted to be loved. After attempting to go to the college Jeffrey Dahmer dropped out after 3 months, due to his extreme alcoholism, self-sabotage, he then enlisted to be in the US Army, he was stationed in Germany for three years. The long-awaited second instalment in Samantha Shannon's Sunday Times and New York Times-bestselling series Tunuva Melim is a sister of the Priory.

When played back, he would have killed all those people every time over, since the chain of events that led up to his birth and lifespan are all deterministic and therefore pre-determined.He had difficulty in relating to other people, he attempted to make friends but he was always considered to be weird, a freak, someone that was a outcast, a loner, that was ridiculed for being weird or different. Once you can get past the authors ego that bleeds into the pages of this book there is interesting information about Dahmer, however none of it is information that can't be found in other books about him. Unfortunately I had to edit my review because it was too long, but I hope people still read my book review. One of the most staggering revelations from Lionel was that he was in fact the one who had taught Jeffrey preservation techniques. I can completely understand drawing comparisons between Dahmer and other serial killers, but some of it was entirely irrelevant.

I’m just very sensitive to this subject because now it’s associated with a well known serial killer, great, more stigma. The thoughts that forced him to do this are just like the thoughts other criminals have but telling them to do different things, like steal a car or rob that lady on the street. However there are a lot of author opinions throughout the book compared to his other books and I did have to push myself to finish this.most of us enjoy many moments in life and sharing those moments; so we have incentive to remain decent. Personally I did not like this book as the author was more interested in explaining and rambling about himself, I picked this book up to read about the killer not the author.

But he is most notorious for what happened to his victims after their grisly deaths and the shocking depravity that led to Dahmer being dubbed the 'Milwaukee Cannibal'. Looking at the best in people is a good way to look at things but not to the point of being foolish.

If one or both parents have a predilection for violence, then the child is more likely to grow up to become violent themself, especially when they grown up in a unstable/unhappy home environment, so the child spends all their time alone or with their siblings to avoid violence, conflict. The cocktail of medications and mental health issues of his parents have definitely had an impact, but due to the fact that his brain was cremated with the rest of his body we will never know for sure. I don't think we really got into the mind of Jeffrey Dahmer here, but the author did talk about his childhood, his upbringing, his parents’ relationship, his time in the military and those he killed.
