It doesn't take long for Jenna to find herself falling not only for Stephen but his children as well, but Stephen seems to be holding her at arms length. She's fabulous with all of Stephen's boys, especially little Nicky who was still recovering from the trauma of being abducted just six months earlier ( Don't Tell). I would suggest reading Don't Tell prior to this book so that you will have a better understanding and appreciation for the hero. It's more than apparent that after only two books Karen Rose has found her story-telling niche in romantic suspense. Brad's teacher, Jenna Marshall reaches out to help, and she and Steven realize they have more in common than their concern for Brad.

Ich finde die Charaktere von Karen Rose sonst auch immer sehr symphatisch, aber in diesem Fall finde ich Steven schon recht unsymphatisch. This is a riveting blend of great plotting, fine characterizations and sizzling romance, all of which create the perfect recipe for an edge-of-your seat suspense. I was able to figure out the killer about halfway through but continued to challenge my choice almost to the end. Stephen assembles an extremely talented investigative team to solve the string of murders, and each person on the team has their own personality and abilities that they bring to the table to get the job done. She and Steven are trying to explore their feelings in the midst of his career demands and her challenges with the vandalism.

carry over to future books at this time, the only exception being Stephen who it appears may have a secondary role in Kill for Me. Karen Rose is superb at what she does, she knows how to grip readers from the first page and there's plenty of twists and turns . I think this is most because of the main character who had pretty much stupid behavior towards the main heroine. May contain mild to moderate sexual tension and/or possible implications of something more taking place off canvas, but nothing beyond kissing actually occurs within the text. She met her husband, Martin, on a blind date when they were seventeen and after they both graduated from the University of Maryland, (Karen with a degree in Chemical Engineering) they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio.HAVE YOU SEEN HER is an unforgettable thriller, part of bestselling author Karen Rose's Raleigh series. When Seattle detective Neil Davies learns of the North Carolina murders, he's certain a previous suspect (released on a technicality three years before) is responsible. Seventeen year old Brad has gone from a polite, wonderful student to a surly, unkempt teenager failing his classes in a month's time.

This twist complicates an already busy plot and doesn't fit Neil's character as a single-minded cop who's lost everything, (including his wife), over his obsession to catch a killer.Meanwhile, he's trying to deal with his problems at home as his oldest son has had a personality change and is failing chemistry. Rose certainly made me second guess myself several times, making the journey to discovering his identity enjoyable. hat einen wirklich spannenden Fall, der aber durch die privaten Konflikte unter den Charakteren zu kurz kommt. I know I must be missing something as these books seem to have great ratings, clearly they aren’t for me.

The thing is, I could totally keep listening to this audiobook, it isn't horrible and the narration is pretty good. Before becoming a RITA Award-winning author, she worked as a chemical engineer for a large consumer goods company and as a high school chemistry and physics teacher. I love nothing more, than when an author can make me feel the same level of fear and panic, that the characters are subjected to. If Steven wants to have a future with Jenna, he must deal with the issues in his past while he races to find a serial killer whose actions are escalating. Jenna may be a very nice person, but underneath it all, she's a tough-as-nails lady with a brown belt in karate. Steven is leading an investigation on a serial killer who is targeting teenage girls and as if that wasn't enough to worry about, his youngest boy, Nicky, is still not quite himself after getting abducted in the previous book, while Brad, his seventeen year old son, seems to be going through a bad phase as well and has started failing his classes.
