These guides are still packed full of inspiration and have plenty of great tips for things to see, do, eat and drink, but we can't be sure that every place we've recommended is still open or quite the same as it was when we wrote about it. Zara did annoy me slightly in this book, I felt she went off the rails and was quite childish with some of her actions but in the end, I think that is Zara to an extent. Definitely should have ended up alone, but was somehow made out to be this amazing person that lights up a room, when really she was immature, cheating, and, frankly, narcissistic. I also didn’t get any idea why Zara has any friends at all ;she may be presented as zany but has the morals of an alley cat and from her shallow slovenly behaviour appears not to fully appreciate her long suffering friends .

Our guide takes in all this, leading you from Fondazione Prada to a humble osteria in just a few paces. The interview scene was widely unrealistic and just for the author's info, it is NHS 'Greater' Glasgow and Clyde. I feel she did redeem herself somewhat and I do feel that her friends are a lot more forgiving that I would be in a lot of scenarios. I love the ending of Zara and Tom, I was constantly wondering throughout the book where it would end, would Zara finally be happy with Tom or would she find another man in Milan?

Milan is a city that hides its greatest assets, they sit behind walls, through courtyards, up a flight of stairs – and this guide will take you to them. I did feel that Zara had her head more screwed on in this book with regards to what she wanted out of life. This book however she did so many things that I found to be awful , as much as I laughed out loud many times, I also was really quite annoyed at her too. The shocking news of the summer is that Tom - the ex Zara always thought would never settle down - is ENGAGED to beloved actress and all-natural beauty Quinn Foxx. What sets Meet Me in Milan apart is Sophie’s remarkable ability to blend humor and vulnerability, capturing the essence of life’s intricacies […] Sophie’s clever narrative strikes a balance between hilarity and poignancy, ensuring that even the most comedic moments carry layers of emotional authenticity.
