Description

Weighing just 5kg (without accessories), this highchair comes in as the 2nd lightest on our list, after the Ikea Antilop. A new entry in the highchair market, this super sleek, stylish and minimalist chair can be used in 5 ways. It’s also easy to assemble: the chair comes in one piece and the legs pop into the bottom; you then clip on the tray, if required.

However, the straps are only a 3-point lap strap rather than the safer 5-point straps, which is something to be aware of. The stylish Nosh highchair from Babylo is suitable from birth and features extra-thick faux leather fabric. Naturally, thanks to its engaging and colourful design, it proved a hit with our one-year-old tester, but it’s great for parents, too.Multi-use – A lot of highchairs can now be converted into various formats – from traditional highchair to booster seat and child seat – as your little one grows. While some high chairs can feel a little too reclined, our 9-month-old tester certainly seemed comfortable in the Snack N’ Stow, helped along by the softly padded seat and two-position footrest; plus the harness offered extra security to keep her upright. Made from rubberwood, it is durable and long-lasting and will see your child well into their older years. The first is the six-position swivelling seat, which makes light work out of getting baby in and out. It has seven height positions it can fit easily at most tables so your little one can eat alongside you and the family from Birth.

The pieces are dishwasher friendly, which is a bonus, and the extra silicone layer for the tray is useful. It’s straightforward to assemble without the need for tools, and easily transforms into a booster or pre-schooler chair by unclipping or clipping-in the extendable legs and removing the detachable try. They can help make weaning and feeding a doddle, so the only thing you have to worry about is deciding what to cook! That said, it is very easy to wipe clean and is a dark enough colour to disguise stains," Bethan added. For extra comfort or if your baby simply wants to relax, the highchair comes with extra soft padding and 3 recline modes. The design is wonderfully practical: it has a three-position reclinable seat, seven different adjustable height options, and a detachable tray with a dishwasher-safe divider. In terms of safety, there is a stable base and 5-point harness system with adjustable straps on the Munchkin Float, meaning you can keep babies and toddlers safe and secure in their seat. Age suitability – Highchairs are generally suitable from around 6 months, or when your baby can sit up on their own and you begin weaning. I was initially happy with our purchase as we could sit our baby in the chair while we were cooking and having dinner so we could all see and interact with eachother. The MiChair, which comes with an impressive 10 year warranty, is designed as a 4-in-1 chair that can be used as a baby bouncer, high chair (with or without tray), a low chair for toddlers to use independently, and a rocking chair, so should last well throughout your child's early years.
