After 2 hrs it reaches the base note of vanilla. That's about an hour longer than it takes Dior Homme Intense which has a similar vanilla base but DHI has lemon notes added which contribute to it smelling like bug spray. SwY thankfully doesn't have that problem but its base is a boring and generic and slightly rubbery vanilla/amber/tonka bean accord found in so many other frags.

People bash this fragrance but I don't get one thing. You like Armani code profumo but you dislike this, you like 1 million but you hate this? Young to middling aged scent, unisex bit more masculine. More fall, spring, winter night than high summer days but would suit many environments and occasions although so far I’ve only tried this in spring and mostly around the house. Can’t wait to see how it would go in the fall and cold run up to Xmas.

Fruity, nutty, spicy, warm, a hint of fruity sweetness, it's everything I imagine an autumn fragrance to be. It is very sweet throughout but not too sweet for me, it has enough completely and depth so that I don’t get annoyed by it. I love to keep smelling it and wearing it. Thankfully, it also does not have L'Homme Ideal's old-fashioned aldehydic powderiness - all of which contribute to this frag feeling as timeless as the iconic Bleu de Chanel. It's equally well-blended as BdC too. Basically, IMO this is to warm spicy frags what BdC is to blue freshies: perfection. Initial projection and sillage is strong but after an hour contracts into a skin scent. The flowers also make their presence known at this point but they don't seem to take over. 1hr 30 mins in and it smells like a well used high end leather billfold.

I count at least six flankers for "Stronger With You." Why? Did they find more efficient ways to convert pre-November 12, 1955 George McFly into liquid form? Did they map out shorter pathways between a man's olfactory nerves and his appetite for avocado toast and Bette Midler movies? One can only imagine! I’ve got a 2018 bottle and it’s strong but not oppressive, however if it’s been weakened from reformulation (I’ve only smelled the 2018 formula) I might even prefer that so it could be sprayed more and cover a larger surface area without choking your partner out, because this is an excellent fragrance for intimacy. In fact, the 2018 bottle is great for both intimacy and clubs in the same way that Versace Eros is. Unlike Eros, it doesn’t work in high heat and humidity. I can't say the longevity on this but it did seem to last long on my skin. Sprayed on my hand and went through the day, and even washed my hands a couple of times.
