My new job was to assess and treat drug addicts using a range of the latest motivational tools, which I was continuously trained in. In contrast to the NHS placement, I was no longer in clinical environments, so most of the approaches I used were focused on motivational exercises, talking therapies and support groups as opposed to prescriptions and risk assessments.
